Superior Asphalt is a family-owned asphalt maintenance company specializing in crack sealing, seal coating, asphalt repair, and parking lot striping for over 35 years. They do both residential and commercial asphalt maintenance serving businesses, property managers, homeowners, contractors, and municipalities in Utah and the surrounding states.

The Challenge

Superior Asphalt has a great reputation and has achieved a great level of success over the years. However, they relied on word-of-mouth referrals and public RFPs to acquire new customers and they knew it was time to start building their digital presence to help them achieve future growth.

Superior knew that they wanted to invest in SEO and came to us for help. They had a website, but it was lacking content and it was only a single page. They needed a refined website and SEO strategy in order to get them to where they wanted to go.

Our Approach

We started by building them a website that effectively educated visitors on their services, the value proposition for each, how they differed, and which service areas they offered to their customers. In addition, we put a strong emphasis on making the website easy to navigate and providing enough social proof to ensure that we would be able to get a high conversion rate.

When the website was completed, we quickly got to work on implementing our SEO strategy by optimizing each page and delivering a unique content strategy for their blog targeting property managers to increase authority with Google. Because asphalt maintenance is relatively uncompetitive in search, there was a big opportunity to dominate search for this industry.

The Results

Superior is in an industry where the internet is heavily under-utilized, creating many challenges that we had to overcome in order to achieve high positions and increase organic traffic, but we were able to get them the search visibility needed to increase traffic and quote inquiries dramatically. We’re very excited about the results that we’ve achieved for Superior and they are too!
